Free crochet scarf pattern

courtesy Girlies-Crochet/ravelry.com
GirliesCrochet has posted a free crochet scarf pattern, called the "Glenda scarf," easy skill level, beautiful for gifts. The free pattern uses DK or light worsted yarn and a US G (6mm) hook.

The website offers a photo tutorial for each step of the pattern, and further instruction for the individual stitches. Crochet stitches used are ch, dc, and picot. Knitting scarf pattern links are included below.
The finished crochet scarf measurement is 5" by 60," but there is also a free pattern for a lacy crochet wrap, which is created by making the lovely lace crochet scarf longer and wider. GirliesCrochet is a super site for learning to crochet in a fun way with photo tutorials and many easy free crochet patterns posted. You'll find the Glenda free crochet scarf pattern here. The link for the wrap pattern is there as well.
