Love this cowl pattern for spring! Great stitch pattern

I love this lightweight short cowl pattern for spring. It has an interesting knitting stitch pattern and is knit with a DK or worsted yarn, as long as you use the smallest suggested needle to get gauge. And it's a free pattern as well.

Designer Laura Snyder has suggested Madelinetosh DK or Vintage (worsted), which is a soft, luxurious merino wool yarn knitnscribble often uses for accessories worn close to the skin. You'll need approximately one skein for this cowl pattern. Here are some colorway choices in the Vintage.

The 'Lots of Lotus' cowl is knit in the round and calls for either a US 6 (4.25mm) or 8 (5mm) 24" circular needle, dependent on the weight yarn you choose.

And for $25, this cowl knits a beautiful gift!
